Captain Allan Williams, A.M.S. holds a USCG Merchant Mariner, Master 100 ton
    Captain's License. He graduated from The Chapman School of Seamanship, Yacht
    And Small Craft Surveying Course of 2004 and the Fundamentals of Damage and
    Claims Survey course in 2004. He received the Chapman School of Seamanship
    Burgee for special recognition in obtaining a perfect score on the final survey report,
    given to only one student each term in the Yacht
    And Small Craft Surveying Course.

    He is an Accredited Marine Surveyor (AMS) member of The Society of
    Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS)  Since 1985 Allan has performed part
    time yacht renovations on sailing vessels of  various types and sizes. He has extensive
    experience in the marine industry, including yacht sales.

    Allan graduated from Salisbury University with a B.A. Degree in Education in 1976. He taught high school between 1976- 1978 and returned to Salisbury to become
    the University Bookstore Director from 1978-1990. During this period Allan founded the Freshman Orientation Sailing Program. In 1990 Allan joined Gear for
    Sports as an independent sales representative where he received the Million Dollar Club sales award for several years. Because of his love for boating and his many
    years of experience, Allan decided to pursue a full time career in the marine industry in 2002.
